Michael Scott Slosar is a California native with a keen eye for subtle details and a deep understanding of commercial advertising as an art form. A balanced fusion of these traits built an impressive portfolio for Slosar, with work spanning both the creative and commercial realms of photography.

He realized his dream to become a photographer in the late 90’s after transferring to brooks Institute of Photography. “Nobody ever told me that you could make a career in photography until I first went to college and took a photo course,” Slosar said. “Once I started to see that and talking careers, I realized I could do what I love and do it for the rest of my life as a living, so I transferred schools.”

Since then he has worked with some of the most prominent brands with clients like the NFL, REEBOK, Toyota, Dickies, Skechers, AT+T, Hollister, and many more. Capturing expressive or moving subjects can be difficult at times, but Slosar is a firm believer in preparation and engagement. Understanding his clients creates authentic photos brimming with intensity and soul, whether it be for an AD, the cover of a Magazine, or a personal project.
